My travels in China

Suddenly, I went to China for my vacation.
That was decided very suddenly, my friend kindly asked me to go there together. That was a golden opportunity for me so I took advantage of that.
I didn't even expect I could go to China from Canada! What a lucky girl am I!!
I had really wanted to go China for a long time and this was the first time to go China for me.
We visted Shanghai, Hangzhou, Zhuhai, Macau, and Hong Kong for a week.
It was very hard to visit so many places for just 1 week for me. But my friend had travelled in China a lot so our trip was fine.





The first place I visited was Shanghai. There were many people.
It was not clean there and I felt a little bit scared. But I saw some nice views also.




The next city, Hangzhou, was a beautiful city! I loved it.
I had some fish there , which were a peculiarity of Hangzhou, but I did't really like those fish.
They were stinky and very different from Japanese fish.

Then I flew to Guangzhou but there were no place to stay over night for us because the big fair was going on at that time, so we took the bus from there to Zhuhai.

Zhuhai was a poor city but kind of neat, there were a lot of shops I like. I thought it was like a Shinjyuku but dirtier. Of course everything was much cheaper than Tokyo.

Then, we visted Macau, which is a very pretty city and many people live in a small area just like Tokyo. I loved this city and almost everyone could speak English that was very comfortable for me especially to do shopping. I did some shopping here. I got good price!!

The final city, Hong Kong, was a completely developed city.
We took the ferry from Macau to Hong Kong. That ferry was pretty fast and listed too much, so I got ferry sick. I don't want to take this ferry anymore.
But I loved Hong Kong city. A lot of lovely shops tempted me. Their price was not cheap as much as the other places in China but still cheap. I couldn't buy anything at this time but I wish I would come to this city every month to do shoping.
And there was the beautiful ocian. Hopefully I would come here again in the summer time and swim!!
Anyway I enjoyed China very much. I will visit China again soon.
